A paragliding mishap drops a South Korean heiress, Yoon Se-ri, into the North Korean portion of the Demilitarized Zone, where she is discovered by an army captain, Ri Jeong-hyeok. Deciding to protect and hide her instead of turning her in, Captain Ri helps her navigate life in the strict North Korean countryside. Despite the political divisions and immense dangers, they find themselves falling in love as they search for a way to get her safely back home.
