Howls Moving Castle

Sophie, an unconfident young hatmaker, has her life upended when she is cursed with the body of a ninety-year-old woman by the spiteful Witch of the Waste. To break the spell, she seeks refuge in the towering, mechanical, walking fortress belonging to the eccentric wizard Howl. Posing as a cleaning lady, Sophie befriends the fire demon Calcifer and Howl's apprentice Markl, but she is gradually swept into a kingdom-spanning war that threatens the wizard she has grown to love.
