Mahavatar Narsimha tells the awe-inspiring story of the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. When the demon king Hiranyakashipu gains a boon that makes him virtually immortal, he unleashes a reign of terror, demanding to be worshipped as God. His own son, the young prince Prahlada, remains a devoted follower of Lord Vishnu. To protect his devotee and restore Dharma, Lord Vishnu emerges in the fierce form of Narsimha—half-man and half-lion—to end the tyranny of evil.
