Reply 1988 (2015)

Set in the year 1988, Reply 1988 is a nostalgic look back at the end of the late 1980s. It follows the daily lives, struggles, and coming-of-age journeys of five childhood friends—Sung Deok-sun, Choi Taek, Kim Jung-hwan, Sung Sun-woo, and Ryu Dong-ryong—and their families who all reside on the same small, tight-knit residential street in Ssangmun-dong, northern Seoul. They lean on each other to survive their challenging teenage years and navigate their paths toward the future.
