High school student Yuuichi Katagiri values friendship above all else, enjoying a modest life alongside his close-knit group of friends: Shiho, Tenji, Makoto, and Yutori. However, their peaceful days are shattered when their class trip funds are stolen, and the group is suddenly abducted. They wake up in a mysterious room to find themselves forced into participating in the Tomodachi Game (Friends Game) to pay off a massive, unexplained debt. As they play psychological games that test their trust, dark secrets are exposed, forcing Yuuichi to discover who among them is the traitor.
