True Beauty is a romantic comedy about a high school girl, Lim Ju-kyung, who rises to pretty girl fame after she masters the art of make-up from online tutorials. Having been bullied because of her appearance, she turns into a "goddess" at her new school but lives in constant fear of revealing her bare face.
